“In the summer of 1999, I was awarded a scholarship to Texas A&M University to play football as an inside linebacker. Unfortunately in 2001, my career was cut short due to an injury to my lower back. I put myself through one solid year of hardcore physical therapy and got myself back on my feet. My physical activity started with competitive mountain biking, bodyweight resistance training, core training, and bodybuilding techniques. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business. My personal goal after my graduation was to become a strength and conditioning specialist, training both athletes and the general public. I continued my education at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I received my Master’s in Sport Coaching and worked as an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, working with all varsity sports.

Through the years I continued with many different resistance and training programs. I have always believed that you need to practice what you preach if you are going to inspire people to achieve their goals both physically and mentally. However, during my own personal training regimens, my lower back would sometimes lock up so badly that I could barely walk for two weeks, sometimes even longer. The movements that would cause this problem would be simply getting out of bed, getting out of the car, or bending over and picking up a box. This problem would happen every four to six months. I performed many different stretching techniques, core stability training, and even tried chiropractic care. All of these would provide temporary relief, but the locking up condition would still happen every four to six months.

Then I discovered the Power Plate. I was first introduced to Power Plate in 2012 along with Bio Density and that changed the game forever. I started getting educated and trying the techniques on the Power Plate. Starting with massage work to loosen up the fascia tissue, I moved on to the stretching techniques and felt a different type of range of motion that I had never felt before. My flexibility was getting better and my lower back and hips started loosening up. Before I knew it, the locking up condition in my lower back started hurting much less and was happening less often.

As I got more educated, I started expanding my horizons and started incorporating core training techniques, balance techniques, and strength training into my own personal regimen and it has been a life changer. My lower back issue has basically disappeared. It still locks up on me every once in a while, but what used to take two weeks of barely being able to walk, now takes maybe one or two days of stretching, massaging, and certain movements on the Power Plate. Not only has it helped me with my injury, but it has also gotten me as strong and functional as I was since I was in college.

I achieved my Power Plate Master Certification in 2015, and all of my clients, both my general public clients and my athletes, use the Power Plate and are seeing great results. I will forever use this product and I will recommend it to anyone who is looking to take their fitness, their game, and their life to the next level.”
